The first comprehensive U.S. exhibition drawn from The Israel Museum's world-renowned collection of Jewish costumes opens at the Jewish Museum on November 3, 2017, and remains on view through March 18, 2018. Veiled Meanings: Fashioning Jewish Dress, from the Collection of The Israel Museum, Jerusalem showcases over 100 articles of clothing from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries, arranged as complete ensembles or shown as stand-alone items.
Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra to Welcome Nicholas Hammond for Rodgers and Hammerstein Concerts

The Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra (SHSO) will present two concerts featuring the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein on Saturday 25 June at 7pm and Sunday 26 June at 2.30pm.. Hosted by a Rodgers and Hammerstein favourite Nicholas Hammond, the event will feature soloists Judith Rough, Lotte Latukefu, Richard Lane and Stephen Wheatley. The concerts will have 25 musical numbers featuring the SHSO Chorus including songs from OKLAHOMA, SOUTH PACIFIC, CAROUSEL, THE KING AND I, FLOWER DRUM SONG, THE SOUND OF MUSIC and more.
