The 2018 Brits Off-Broadway Season At 59E59 Theaters Announced!
The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, presented by 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) returns from Wednesday, April 11 - Sunday, July 1. The single ticket prices range from $25 - $70 ($20 - $49 for 59E59 Members). Tickets to Brits Off Broadway go on sale on Tuesday, March 6 at Noon, with a special pre-sale for 59E59 Members beginning Tuesday, February 27 at Noon. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents Hot Latin Nights with the Mambo Kings February 16 18 in Red Bank, Newark and New Brunswick. From the sultry melancholy of Astor Piazzolla and the burning Afro-Cuban rhythms of Tito Puente to the rhythmic playfulness of jazz great Dave Brubeck and the pop strains of The Beatles, the Latin jazz tour features original orchestral arrangements and compositions from the US, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, Puerto Rico and beyond.
Carl Topilow & Cleveland POPS to Celebrate New Year's Eve with the Mambo Kings
The Cleveland POPS Orchestra with conductor Carl Topilow will welcome 2015 with their 19th annual concert and dance at Severance Hall. The two-hour concert starts at 9:00 p.m. with an exciting and wildly eclectic fusion of audience favorites performed by the Cleveland POPS Orchestra with conductor Carl Topilow, to the hot Latin rhythms of the MAMBO KINGS. Along with traditional New Year's Eve musical fare, the first half of the concert will include “Happy” by Pharrell Williams and a special arrangement of Nino Rota's “Theme from The Godfather,” arranged by Cleveland POPS principle trombonist Paul Ferguson.
