Trinity Repertory Company will present its 48th annual production of A Christmas Carol, adapted from the novella by Charles Dickens, with original music by Richard Cumming. Due to planned renovations of Trinity Rep’s Chace Theater, the production will run at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC).

This year, they've partnered with 56 choirs from Rhode Island (and a few from Massachusetts) to make each show unique and feature even more local talent. This is a lovely addition to the classic story, and another way that Trinity manages to give this play something new year after year. Set in a classic Victorian backdrop, this year's production features lots of singing and dancing, and some pretty fantastic effects and performances.

To celebrate the production, a limited engagement flash sale will offer patrons $4 off adult tickets to non-peak performances purchased July 25 - July 29 using code ACCFLASH. Tickets will be available for purchase by phone at (401) 351-4242, online at www.trinityrep.com, or in person at the theater's box office at 201 Washington Street, Providence. Last year's production was the highest selling show in the company's history and many performances sold out.
