Tennessee Williams Festival Adds Jazz Brunch, New Performances for 2017

The 2nd Annual Tennessee Williams Festival-St. Louis has added two new performances, a jazz brunch, and extended runs to their previously announced lineup, making the city's celebration of world-renowned Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tennessee Williams a truly one-of-a-kind event for the Midwest.

In May, the city of St. Louis again celebrates the city's world-renowned Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright - Tennessee Williams - with the 2nd Annual Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis, May 3rd through 7th, in venues across the Grand Center Theatre District. 
NJ Rep's ANGELS AND MINISTERS OF GRACE Opens Next Week

New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, will present the World Premiere of Angels and Ministers of Grace by Elaine Smith on October 23 through November 23, 2014. A poignant and compelling story of a close-knit, yet eccentric family's struggle to overcome life's ups and downs, Angels and Ministers of Grace captures the struggles that confront families today throughout the heartland and urban centers of America, and reveals the forces that threaten to destroy the American dream.

The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival has announced that Michael Paller, author, dramaturg and educator, will be a participating scholar at the Tennessee Williams Institute (TWI) held during this year's Festival, Tennessee Williams' Circle of Friends, September 25 - 28, 2014.

Philadelphia Theatre Company, the city's premier producer of new American theatre, reaffirms its commitment to supporting new plays by American playwrights with its STAGES series, a new play reading series, beginning Monday, October 19 at 7PM at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets) during the run of its current production, Humor Abuse starring Lorenzo Pisoni. The opening program will be a reading of Silverhill by Philadelphia playwright Thomas Gibbons, directed by Richard Corley, who has directed PTC's mainstage productions of Broken Glass by Arthur Miller, A Question of Mercy by David Rabe, The Woods by David Mamet, and Sight Unseen by Donald Margulies.
