RHODES releases his new album Friends Like These via Nettwerk. Recorded during lockdown alongside producers Rich Cooper and Ash Workman (Christine and the Queens, Metronomy), Friends Like These is a stunning collection of personal tracks, sharing tales of love, loss, friendship, and hope, harnessed by RHODES’ charming vocals.

This latest single follows tracks ‘No Words’, ‘Suffering’, ‘The Love I Give’, ‘Drink To This’ and ‘Friends Like These’ and comes ahead of RHODES’ album, Friends Like These. Recorded during lockdown alongside producers Rich Cooper and Ash Workman (Christine and the Queens, Metronomy), the new album will be RHODES’ first since 2015 debut Wishes.

Aus dem Nichts tauchte der in London lebende Australier Josef Salvat in den vergangenen Monaten mit drei Songs im Internet auf, die sich uber die sozialen Netzwerke wie ein Lauffeuer verbreiteten. Seine ersten Kompositionen, „This Life', „Hustler' und „Every Night', erwiesen sich als atemberaubender Spagat zwischen nachtschwarz gefarbter Elektronik, großen Pop-Hymnen und einer textlichen Intimitat, die ihresgleichen sucht. Der britische ‚Guardian' bezeichnete Salvat als „Gotye des kommenden Jahres'. Andere Medien beschrieben ihn als „Mischung aus Morrissey und Lana del Rey'.
