Rhys Samuel Washington is a writer and actor. Rhys Samuel Washington is a New York-based writer, actor, and lyricist. He received a BFA in writing for film, television, and emerging media from Ithaca College. In 2022, Rhys’ play Lifetime Achievements and All The Shortcomings Thereafter was nominated for best short play at the New York Theater Festival and won the L.B. Wiliams Playwriting Contest. His work has been developed at Ithaca College, The New Circle Theatre Company, Playground NY, and HB Studio.
