Pontine Theatre Presents GEPPETTO: EXTRAORDINARY EXTREMETIES

January 22 - 24, Pontine Theatre presents the third production of it’s 2020-21Season. Geppetto: Extraordinary Extremeties, is created and performed by New York City’s Concrete Temple Theatre.
La MaMa Will Present the US Premiere of THE WAITRESS & THE ROBBER

La MaMa in association with Concrete Temple Theatre and Playfactory Mabangzen will present the U.S. premiere of THE WAITRESS & THE ROBBER, written by Renee Philippi and directed by Ms. Philippi and Eric Nightengale, with an original score by Lewis Flinn. THE WAITRESS & THE ROBBER begins performances on Thursday, April 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 26. Press Opening is Sunday, April 12 at 3:00 pm. Performances are at the Ellen Stewart Theatre at La MaMa (66 East 4th Street, between Bowery and 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor). The performance schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 7:00 pm; Sunday at 3:00 pm. Dixon Place Has Announced its 2020 Season

Dixon Place has announced their 2020 season, featuring nine commissioned original productions and four puppetry productions, including Concrete Temple Theatre, Sara Juli, Eszter Balint & Stew, Shayna Strype, Rachel Klein, Nora Burns, Marga Gomez, Maria Camia, Andy Manjuck, Dorothy James and Arif Silverman.
Stunning Puppet-Forward Production PACKRAT Premieres At Dixon Place

Dixon Place presents Concrete Temple Theater's next multi-media puppet-theater creation PACKRAT, written and directed by Renee Philippi with puppetry design and construction by Carlo Adinolfi and an original score by Lewis Flinn. PACKRAT begins performances on Friday, January 31 for a limited engagement through Friday, February 14. Performances are at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street, between Rivington & Delancey). The performance schedule is Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $19 in advance; $22 at the door. (For Students/Seniors/ID NYC: $17 in advance and $20 at-the-door.) Concrete Temple Theatre brings their one-man puppet theatre spectacle, "Geppetto: Extraordinary Extremities" to Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre for three performances November 11-13, 2016. A tale of resilience and adaptation for audiences of all ages, it tells the story of a puppet-maker and recent widower, Geppetto, as he attempts to perform the mythical love story of Perseus and Andromeda without his wife for the first time. During the performance things begin to go haywire, and Geppetto finds himself desperately improvising to overcome the challenges of performing alone while at the same time scrambling to devise new storylines, new characters, and even new limbs for his puppet hero.
