Saline Area Players, celebrating 50 years of theater, is presenting a fun and lighthearted show in which the audience is encouraged to strongly react to the heroes and villains.Brent Lofgren, who has performed in many Saline Area Players productions as well as with several other area theater troupes, is making his debut as a director. 'The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt Or... Alw ays Wash Your Long Johns'Cause It Makes a Lotta Cents' by Tim Kelly and produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service offers an interactive experience.

BWW Review: THE PACK - A Monthly Dose Of Laughter Is The Best Medicine Taken With A Spoonful Of Hilarity at The Groundlings
There are four different playlets, newly written and presented by Eugene Pack, narrated by Rebecca Lane, that are 'put on their feet,' as the actors hold scripts and improvise their newly seen dialogue. This is now happening monthly. They delve into the crazy, neurotic, blundering, very relatable characters with relish, which works very nicely for that feeling where audiences and performers share all having fun together, feeding off of each others' enthusiasm. That's what you call a 'Good House.'

Seattle Musical Theatre, Seattle's oldest musical theatre house, and West Seattle's Twelfth Night Productions are co-producing the nascent Reboot Theatre Company's maiden production of an all-female 1776 (Book by Peter Stone; Music and Lyrics by Sherman Edwards; Based on a concept by Sherman Edwards). This beloved Tony winner celebrates the founding of the United States of America with what is widely considered one of the most intelligent librettos in musical history. With Keith A. Gehrig at the directorial helm and music direction by Mark Rabe, 1776 runs one weekend only June 25-28, 2015 at Seattle Musical Theatre in Magnuson Park.
