BIO

Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, Rayshaun aspires to authentically cultivate and inspire within his intersectional communities. After graduating from the William Esper Studio in 2017, Rayshaun went on to experience one of a kind opportunities performing as part of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus on Good Morning America as well as with the leads of Broadway's Hamilton and Alan Cumming at Carnegie Hall. Rayshaun was also featured in the Cannes Award and Shorty award winning regional premiere of As Much As I Can. Other credits include FX's Pose, the New York Fringe Festival and the Brooklyn College Festival hosted by The Public Theater. Catch him on Instagram @rceyes.

DUCDAME ENSEMBLE is proud to present the premiere of THE CONGRESSWOMEN as part of the New York International Fringe Festival - Fringe NYC. Directed by Shira Milikowsky, THE CONGRESSWOMEN is based on a play by Aristophanes & adapted by Kelly Strandemo, with the Ducdame Ensemble Company. Music Director is Ericka Ross, with Choreography by Andrew Barret Cox, Costume Design by Ashley Rose Horton with Quetzali Gonzalez as Assistant Director. Ducdame Ensemble Founding Member, Michael J. Connolly & fellow LAMDA alumna & Pocket Universe President, Alyssa May Gold, serve as THE CONGRESSWOMEN'S producing team.

Burning Coal Theatre Company Presents KIDSWRITE! This Weekend

Burning Coal Theatre Company will present KidsWrite! an evening of new plays by young people for audiences of all ages this weekend, May 15th at 7:30pm, May 16th at 7:30 pm, and May 17th at 2:00pm at the Murphey School Auditorium at 224 Polk St. Raleigh, NC.
