Courtney Reed to Receive LEADING ARTIST AWARD
The Sarah Siddons Society is set to present its 2022 Leading Artist Award to Broadway star Courtney Reed, who is currently leading the North American tour of the Tony Award-winning musical, Moulin Rouge. Reed is a graduate of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, one of the four Chicago area theater schools which receives funds for scholarships from the Society.

Now on stage at the Encore Theatre is the musical '9 to 5.' I'd love to invite you to enjoy seeing this show, but due to its overwhelming popularity, it's completely sold out. The only possible way to get tickets is if there are cancellations. This is a smash hit for Encore Theatre, and of course, everything they do is performed to perfection. You are best off buying a season ticket so you can always see their shows.

Chicago's Sarah Siddons Society recently announced winners of their prestigious annual Actor of the Year Award to be presented on May 16, 2016 at Northwestern University's Pick Staiger Concert Hall. One of Broadway's most popular performers, Brian D'Arcy James, was the recipient. The event was co-sponsored by Northwestern's School of Communication, Barbara O'Keefe, Dean.
