Performing Arts Center Eastside Announces Distinguished Vision & Design Team
Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE) marks a milestone in its realization with the announcement of a distinguished vision and design team. Futurists, programmers, technicians, designers and architects from companies such as Microsoft, T-Mobile, Pfeiffer Partners, ARVR Academy, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and more have now partnered to create a first-of-its-kind new venue, with endlessly flexible immersive, digital and experiential components.

The stars were shining, including Chita Rivera, Marge Champion, Stephen Schwartz and more, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park Wednesday evening when Queens Theatre hosted its 2012 Gala Fundraiser, a star-studded celebration of the world premiere of HEAT WAVE: THE Jack Cole PROJECT, a new musical homage to legendary stage and screen choreographer Jack Cole. The event raised more than $150,000 for the theatre and its programs, including its educational and outreach programs that bring theatre and the arts to public school students. Tom Wopat, BUBBLEMANIA and More Set for Queens Theatre in March
Special productions in March include performances by Tlen-Huicani, traditional folk music group, Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat in his concert of Broadway Hits and the electrifying Philadelphia Dance Company, PHILADANCO. Youngsters will enjoy the award-winning Casey Carle in his one-man show, Bubblemania and will learn how to develop into an accomplished classical ballet dancer at The Beauty of Ballet, both part of the Queens Center Kids Series at Queens Theatre.
