Rashida Costa is a dynamic Jamaican-American creative whose work spans literature, theater, and performance. An accomplished actress, playwright, and author, she has built a reputation for storytelling that blends imagination, insight, and emotional depth.
As a published writer, Rashida is the author of several works available today, including Who Lives in The Little Wooden House and 365 Days Smarter. Her writing reflects a passion for inspiring curiosity and thoughtful reflection in readers of all ages.
On stage, Rashida has appeared in theatrical productions such as The Recluse and At All Cost, demonstrating a compelling presence and deep commitment to the craft of performance. Expanding her influence beyond acting, she is the playwright of the acclaimed stage production At All Cost, which was produced by the Riant Theatre and is currently on a national tour, bringing her powerful storytelling to audiences across the country. She is also the playwright of the stage production More Than Just Women.
A graduate of South University, Rashida balances her creative pursuits with a fulfilling family life. She is married and the proud mother of three children, continuing to create meaningful work while inspiring others through her dedication to the arts and storytelling.
