The official Matilda Twitter account introduced us to the new cast members with a video of the girls baking with Craige Els, who will be playing Miss Trunchbull. The girls talk about what superpower they would have, who their inspiration is, their hobbies and more while creating a 'tour cake.'
Child Casting Announced For The UK and Ireland Tour Of MATILDA
Today, the Royal Shakespeare Company announces the child casting for the first five venues of the Matilda The Musical 2018/19 UK and Ireland Tour. The title role will be shared by Annalise Bradbury, Lara Cohen, Poppy Jones and Nicola Turner. The West End production will continue to play at the Cambridge Theatre, where it is now in its seventh year and is booking until 10 February 2019.

Last night (21 August 2017) the legendary British athlete Mo Farah met with the West End cast of Motown the Musical having watched the hit show at the Shaftesbury Theatre. He met with the full company of actors including Cedric Neal who plays Berry Gordy (found of the iconic record label), Lucy St Louis who plays Diana Ross and Raphael Higgins-Humes who plays Young Michael Jackson.

Motown the Musical has just released 500,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings for the hit West End production into 2019 when the show will celebrate its third year in London and Motown will celebrate sixty years since the record company was founded.

Motown The Musical, which recently celebrated its first birthday in London, is currently booking at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 24 February 2018. With music and lyrics from the Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, the production features a sixteen-piece orchestra playing 50 Motown tracks including Ain't No Mountain High Enough, I'll Be There, Dancing In The Street, Stop! In The Name Of Love, My Girl and I Heard It through the Grapevine. Charles Randolph-Wright's production tells the story behind the classic hits. Check out brand-new production shots below!
