The Getty Center's Concert Series SOUNDS OF L.A. Returns
The Getty's annual concert series, Sounds of L.A., returns for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic halted the program in 2020, launching its 2022 season on February 19. Hosted at the Getty Center and presented in collaboration with the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the series features three captivating musicians whose performances combine global influences in new and unexpected ways.

The Broad Stage continues their second year of blackbox @ the edye performances with one of the finest bassists in the world, Jennifer Leitham and her trio, on Friday, March 20 at 8:00pm. Currently Jennifer leads her trio and plays in clubs and concerts around the world. Leitham is also the acclaimed Left Coast Uke.

Experience Aloha! A one-hour special, island style collaboration of music and dance by multi-GRAMMY Award winner Daniel Ho and acclaimed kumu hula, Keali'i Ceballos. Based on their original musical, Pineapple Mango, written and directed by Sam O'Neal, this program shares Hawaiian and English language songs and the traditions of hula dance. Daniel, Keali'i and friends will make you feel at home, as they share stories of Hawai'i, 'ohana (family) and food!

Curated by Performances a la Carte, Jazz 'n Paz is back with their spring intimate jazz series of three concerts with some of Los Angeles' finest jazz musicians. Taking place on early Sunday evenings, this season's series opens March 11 with the internationally recognized Jennifer Leitham Trio; Lolly Allen & Friends on April 8; and on May 13, a blowout birthday bash with 2 + 1 + Bacharach. Jazz 'n Paz takes place at 5:00 p.m. at Neighborhood UU Church Sanctuary in Pasadena. Series subscriptions are now on sale, offering a discount from individual concert tickets.
