The Dramatists Guild of America today announced the creation of its first ever Inclusion Rider. As part of its commitment to fostering a more equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist industry, the Guild has crafted this Inclusion Rider as a resource to support all dramatists and producers who have a desire to exercise these principles in the hiring of personnel involved in their productions.

National Coalition Against Censorship To Be Presented DLDF Defender Award, July 29
On July 29, 2019, the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc. will hold its annual Awards Night in the Penthouse Lounge at the American Airlines Theater in New York City. Among the other honors given that night, an award from the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund will be presented to Svetlana Mintcheva, Director of Programing at the National Coalition Against Censorship for their fierce commitment to protecting and advocating the First Amendment.
Dramatists Legal Defense Fund to Honor HAMILTON Cast for Speech to Vice President Mike Pence
On February 27, 2017, the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc. will hold its annual Awards Night at the French Institute / Alliance Francaise in New York City and among the other honors given that night, an award from the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund will be presented to producer Jeffrey Seller, director Thomas Kail, author Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the cast of Hamilton, for exercising their right to free speech by reading a statement directed at Governor and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who was in attendance, at the November 18, 2016 performance.

Monday night, the Arts Integrity Initiative at The New School for Drama gave David Adjmi's play "3C" its first public presentation since the original - and only - production closed at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in midsummer 2012, after which legal action prevented it from being produced or published for some three years.

The Arts Integrity Initiative at The New School College of Performing Arts, School of Drama announces casting for the first public reading of David Adjmi's 3C, following the work's landmark legal victory in April of 2015. Tony nominee Marin Ireland joins original 3C cast members Hannah Cabell, Eddie Cahill and Jake Silbermann in the free event.
