The Exchange Artists Ride A STREETCAR STRAIGHT TO HELL, Beg. Tonight

The Exchange Artists are thrilled to present the fourth date in their Hot Nights series matching a bit of theatre with a hot local band. A Streetcar Straight to Hell is a bloody HotNight appropriate for Halloween night! We don't need zombies or vampires to terrify. Just watch the iconic characters from Tennessee Williams' similarly named southern drama as they break out of their traditional roles and run amuck all over The Blackheart Bar leaving a trail of blood and original endings. This is a theatrical take on the slasher film genre. The play will be underscored by the infectious electronic and rock/punk concoction that is DD Dagger, fronted by Allyson Lipkin. DD Dagger will come back after the play for a full danceable set making the whole evening a big party. The Blackheart Bar will provide specialty themed cocktails. This one-time-only event will be tonight, October 31st, 2013 at The Blackheart, 86 Rainey Street, Austin, TX, 78701. The doors open at 8:00 pm for the 9:00 pm show. The cover is $5 cash at the door.

Inside one man's head, an overworked Mechanic struggles with faulty machinery and the head's other residents, the Personal Demons, to navigate through the day. The Man's issues, poor judgment, and bad habits chronically make the little Mechanic's job more difficult.
