Rachel started singing at the age of 12 years old throught the demanding route of gospel choirs.
Recording: Known simply as The Voice, Rachel has sung club classics such as I Need Somebody (Loveland); Turn up the Power (NTrance); her self-penned LOVER and collaboration on For an Angel (Paul Van Dyke).
Theatre: Rent (original London cast); One; Black Goes With Everything a musical revue of the lyricist Don Black; Been So Long.
Rachel’s most challenging time came when she was diagnosed with Graves Disease and she ceased singing for over two years. She turned her sights to community music projects and was involved in youth music groups in the inner city areas of Manchester and Cheshire. This was quite an inspiring time as she passed her skills on to young people.
Other recording: Rachel’s career resumed with Take Me To The Clouds Above (LMC v U2, No.1 chart position, Brit Award Nomination for Best Single 2004 and Silver Disc). She is currently completing her first solo album: a Gospel music project due for release later this year.
