The Helen Gurley Brown Foundation and Northern Stage announce the second cohort of the BOLD Theater Women's Leadership Circle, a $3 million grant to support women+ leadership and artistry in the American theater. WP THEATER Launches Virtual Pipeline Festival with #PIPELINEONLINE

WP Theater has announced that their third biennial Pipeline Festival will continue virtually, with #pipelineonline. Originally slated to begin performances on March 26, each of the Festival plays will now be featured weekly by WP Lab Artists in weekly emails and on WP Theater's Instagram @wptheater, through April 24.

WP Theater, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Michael Sag, has announced the 2020 lineup for The Pipeline Festival, the third biennial showcase of its celebrated WP Lab residency for playwrights, directors and producers. Running from March 26 - April 25, 2020 at WP Theater (2162 Broadway, at 76th Street), the festival is the culmination of the renowned two-year WP Lab residency, providing a unique opportunity for audiences to see five new plays - in various stages of development, ranging from staged readings to full-length workshop productions - presented over a span of five weeks.

Theatresquared Announces 2019 Arkansas New Play Festival Lineup

TheatreSquared Artistic Director Robert Ford and Executive Director Martin Miller announced today the lineup of new plays for the eleventh annual Arkansas New Play Festival. Five plays will be intensively developed by teams including the playwright, director, dramaturg, and professional cast for each project. Four will receive staged reading performances in Bentonville and in Fayetteville, including Ain't I A Woman by Na'Tosha De'Von, Carlo at the Wedding by Bryna Turner, He Did It by Rachel Lynett, and Teen Dad by Adrienne Dawes. The fifth project is Blanket Statements, a brand-new devised work by Northwest Arkansas's own LatinX Theatre Project, and will culminate in a fully staged workshop performance. With this collaboration, the Project and T2 are launching a new affiliation which extends artistic, production, and institutional support to the young company, supported by a major grant from the Walton Family Foundation.
