BIO

Rachel Jones, originally from South Florida, is a recent Elon Univeristy graduate with a degree in Vocal Performance. She has studied classical voice and performed in operas in San Francisco with the Opera Academy of California under the direction of world-class directors including The Metropolitan Opera’s Yefim Maizel. In college, she was a part of vocal performance groups as well as theatrical performances including The Music Man (Featured/U/S Marian), Hansel and Gretel (Dew Fairy), and A Game of Chance (2nd Knitter). In 2012, she sang backup for multi-platinum singer/songwriter Ben Folds and the North Carolina Symphony in Raleigh. She will be seen in Mad Cow Theatre Company of Orlando’s production of James Joyce’s The Dead as Rita and the Ghost of Young Julia Morkan.
