Pratt Institute's Performance Programs to Present 2022 MFA Thesis Festival
Pratt Institute is set to present Between You and I, a festival showcasing five emerging artists from Pratt Institute’s MFA program in Performance and Performance Studies. The debut work is set to take place at experimental performance venue Dixon Place (161A Chrystie St, New York, NY 10002) and Pratt Institute’s Dekalb Gallery (Pratt Institute, DeKalb Hall, 331 DeKalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205).

Library Theatre Opens MANCHESTER SOUND: THE MASSACRE Tonight

The world premiere in June 2013 of Manchester Sound: The Massacre, in which the Peterloo Massacre of 1819 clashes with the city's second Summer of Love in 1989, directed by Paul Jepson and written by Polly Wiseman; a revival for autumn 2013 of Educating Rita, Willy Russell's marvellous heart-warming comedy; Wanted! Robin Hood, a new adaptation for Christmas 2013 of the classic Robin Hood story by Charles Way, directed by Amy Leach; and the first regional production of Anya Reiss's contemporary translation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull for spring 2014 are the next four productions from Manchester's Library Theatre Company, the company's final programme under the Library Theatre Company banner prior to the Library's move with Cornerhouse to HOME.
Children's Theatre Company's THE BIGGEST LITTLE HOUSE IN THE FOREST Opens 1/24
There's always room for one more in Children's Theatre Company's production of The Biggest Little House in the Forest adapted by Rosanna Staffa from the book by Djemma Bider. CTC Acting Company Member Autumn Ness skillfully creates a wonderful collection of characters and brings each of them to vivid life. The imaginative set and puppets are designed by Eric J. Van Wyk. The Cargill Stage will be magically converted to an intimate, preschool-sized forest, gently welcoming toddlers into the performance space to play. The Biggest Little House in the Forest runs January 24 through March 17.
