American Classical Orchestra Announces 2021-22 Season of Live Performances

The American Classical Orchestra has announced its 2021-22 season of all-live performances, beginning with a full orchestra Reunion program of Baroque music in Damrosch Park on September 22.
ACO presents Premiere of Mozart's Mass in C Minor

The American Classical Orchestra, the nation's premier orchestra dedicated to period instrument performance (Vulture), presents its first performance of Mozart's choral masterpiece, Mass in C Minor (Robert Levin edition), on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, joined by sopranos H l ne Brunet and Clara Rottsolk, tenor Brian Giebler, bass Stephen Eddy, and the ACO Chorus, led by Music Director and ACO founder Thomas Crawford. The program also includes Cherubini's rarely performed D mophoon Overture, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 8.
American Classical Orchestra Opens Season at Lincoln Center with Prodigy Adrian Romoff

The American Classical Orchestra opens its 2017-2018 season on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 8:00 p.m., at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center with a concert of Mendelssohn and Berwald, featuring 12-year old prodigy and Mensa competition winner Adrian Romoff in his Lincoln Center debut, led by Music Director and ACO founder Thomas Crawford. The program includes Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto in G minor with Romoff on fortepiano; Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4, 'Italian'; and Berwald's Symphony No. 3, 'Singuliere'.

Orchestra of St. Luke's to Open 40th Season with Three Octets, Beg. 10/19

To celebrate its 40th anniversary this season, Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) turned to works that have been favorites among its musicians and audiences as the starting point for its Chamber Music Series programs. For the season-opening concerts in late October at The Morgan Library & Museum and Brooklyn Museum, the genesis of the program was the Schubert Octet, a work beloved and frequently performed by St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble throughout its history.
Music Academy of the West Announces 2014 Concerto Night Soloists; Concert Set for 7/19

Having bested the field at this year's Concerto Competition Finals, three accomplished instrumentalists will take featured turns as soloists with the Academy Festival Orchestra under the baton of New York Philharmonic Assistant Conductor Joshua Weilerstein at the Granada Theatre on Saturday, July 19. Beginning at 8 pm, the concert will conclude with a performance of Tchaikovsky's soaring Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, Op. 64. Tickets start at $15.
