The Radicalization of Rolfe, winner of 2016 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award, re-opens as part of the Fringe Encore Series 2016 at The Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street, New York City on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Written by Andrew Bergh and directed by Abigail Zealey Bess, The Radicalization of Rolfe is inspired by the backstory of the lesser-known but vital secondary characters in the legendary musical The Sound of Music. "A tone perfect production," the New York Times declares it is "a play that was just as much fun as - and cleverer than - it promised to be."
Kim Gambino and Polly Adams Cast for Reading of LIFE AND OTHER DISASTERS
Polly Adams (Ensemble Studio Theatre founding member and recently seen as Frau Schmidt in The Radicalization of Rolfe, NY Fringe) has been cast in the role of Martha, and Kim Gambino (Bug by Tracy Letts) has been cast in the role of Brooke, for a reading of a comedy LIFE & OTHER DISASTERS by Julie Richardson on September 19, 7pm, at the Bernie Wohl Center as part of the 29th Street Playwrights Collective NEW WORKS SERIES.

This past weekend, 13th Street Playhouse played host to a room of some of New York's female power players with Wisdom Voices: Women in the Theatre and Over 50. The panel included Broadway veteran Polly Adams; Emmy-winner Ellen Parker; actress & playwright Leigh Curran; actress & scholar Heather Rasche; performer & playwright Shellen Lubin; actress & fine artist Leah Friedman; actress, playwright & performance artist Elizabeth Hess; and veteran playwright & producing artists director of the 13th Rep Susan Merson.
