Piera Van de Wiel is a British Actor and Singer-Songwriter who spends her time between the UK and the US. She has performed Off-Broadway in the Classical Theatre of Harlem's production of The Three Musketeers as Milady De Winter with critical acclaim. Other New York productions include Romeo & Juliet and House of Bernarda Alba at the Atlantic. She has performed at the Rose Theatre in Kingston in the Musical Korczak, co-starring Peter Straker from the original "Hair" fame. Her acting role in the short film "Strip Clara" garnered her a nomination for Best Actress at the Golden Door Film Festival. As a singer, she has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center; the Hope For Abaco Concert raising funds for disaster relief after Hurricane Dorian hit the Abaco Islands with her song "Come Back Home (Abaco Relief Song)" winning the Listener Impact Silver Medal at the Global Music Awards. Her song "Used" was featured on NBC and CBS News and focused on Ending Violence Against Women and was supported by the United Nations Spotlight Initiative. Her love of social impact and powerful storytelling is seen in her music and her acting work.
