Sardoville, a repertoire-esque theatre company fusing dance, design, art and word to tell stories that are moving and entertaining, was founded by Azzura Ardovini, Phil Sanger and Josh Wille, all former performers with Phoenix Dance Theatre, and presents For Only An Hour at Blue Elephant Theatre in London today 16 and Saturday 17 November, and Trinity Community Arts in Bristol on Saturday 24 November as part of IGNiTE.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim announces that Dior will design costumes for the World Premiere of Falls the Shadow, a new 30-minute work made in and for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum rotunda. Falls the Shadow is spearheaded by American Ballet Theatre (ABT) principal Daniil Simkin, with new choreography by Alejandro Cerrudo, and projection design by Dmitrij Simkin. Â

Westport Country Playhouse's AND A NIGHTINGALE SANG Opens Next Month
Westport Country Playhouse will stage 'And a Nightingale Sang,' a love story surrounding a working-class British family during World War II. Written by C. P. Taylor, and directed by David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director, the play will run June 9 - 27. The title is based on the 1940s popular song, 'And a Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square,' which, among other music of the war years, is included in the play.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, and another in its acclaimed series introducing Canada's finest playwrights to the UK, the European premiere of Daniel Macdonald's Velocity opens at the Finborough Theatre for a limited run of nine Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinee performances from Sunday, 27 April 2014.
