MOF20 Brings Mozart To Midtown
Opera Memphis returns to Playhouse on the Square for Midtown Opera Festival 2020, and this year it's all about Mozart! Anchored by the comedic opera Così fan tutte, this year's festival will include new fringe events like Mozart After Dark, Bastien & Bastienne, and Mozart: Lost and Found - a concert with Memphis Symphony Orchestra - as well as classic favorites like Cartoons & Cereal and the Closing Cast Party. Opera Memphis Celebrates Troops in THE FALLING AND THE RISING
This April, Opera Memphis' seventh annual Midtown Opera Festival will be anchored by premiere performances of The Falling and the Rising, a new American opera written by Memphis playwright Jerre Dye and composed by Opera Memphis favorite Zach Redler.

Three Memphis Tenors… and a Baritone, a fun and original cabaret performance as part of a Summer Showcase, opens at Theatre Memphis in the Next Stage July 7 and runs through July 23, 2017. Featuring four Theatre Memphis mainstay performers, Philip Himebook, Charles McGowan, Joseph Lackie, and Charles 'Chuck' Hodges, Theatre Memphis has created its very own version of the The Three Tenors but with a twist. With favorites primarily from Broadway and opera, musical director Jeff Brewer has conceived an evening that will unite the best and brightest voices for the perfect summer offering.
