Phil Gold - Tours: City of Angels (First National), The Music Man In Concert (Midwest tour with Shirley Jones), My Fair Lady (Theatre League), Fiddler On the Roof (U.S.S.R.). Regional: Assassins (Reprise! Broadway's Best), Forever Plaid (San Gabriel Valley Music Theatre and Music Theatre of San Gabriel), Guys & Dolls (Musical Theatre of San Gabriel), The Mikado (Los Angeles Opera), The Music Man (Theatre Under the Stars), My Fair Lady (Hollywood Bowl and Plan-B Productions), Oklahoma! (Los Angeles Opera), and Plaid Tidings (Pasadena Playhouse and McCoy Rigby Entertainment), among others. He has toured Brazil with the Ray Conniff Singers (World Hits Tour), numerous tours to Japan and also to Korea as a soloist with the Roger Wagner Chorale, and currently tours with The Perfect Gentlemen (www.theperfectgentlemen.com). Phil's singing voice can be heard on the cast album for Tell Me More (New World Records), Holiday in Plaid: Plaid Tidings (Varese Sarabande), Unsung Sherman Brothers (Kritzeland) and The Alley Cats' Strike 3! He can also be heard singing in the animated films A Fish Story (Gary Goddard Entertainment), The Christmas Wish (Bonneville Worldwide Entertainment), Christmas Is Here Again (Screen Media Ventures), and Friends Are Forever: Tales of the Little Princess (Marley & Scrooge Productions), on television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The GRAMMY Awards, Black Monday, The ESPY Awards, Gilmore Girls, Ned & Stacey, and Brooklyn Bridge, and in commercials for Suntory, amazon.com, and GameStop. For the last eight years, Phil has also been an AEA stage manager. His stage management credits include: Miss America's Ugly Daughter (Off-Broadway run at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater as well as the L.A. runs at the Edgemar Center for the Arts, Greenway Arts Alliance, and The Edye Stage at the Broad), Rex & Bob's Excellent Misadventure (world premiere at the Glendale Centre Theatre), The Wonderful Winter of Oz and A Cinderella Christmas (Lythgoe Family Panto), In a Booth at Chasen's (world premiere at the El Portal), Dirty Blonde (Laguna Playhouse and Coyote StageWorks), Soul Doctor (International Tour), The Cocktail Hour and Love, Loss & What I Wore (Coyote StageWorks), Hold These Truths and Smokey Joe's Cafe (Pasadena Playhouse), I Only Have Eyes For You (world premiere at The Montalban), Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Next to Normal (McCoy Rigby Entertainment), Forever Plaid (Cabrillo Music Theatre), and Sisterella (European Tour). BWW Review: A Qualified Yes to THE COCKTAIL HOUR

There is much to enjoy in Coyote Stageworks' production of THE COCKTAIL HOUR, by A.R. Gurney: the script is funny, the directing is top-notch, and there is a great deal of excellent acting. Meredith Willson's beloved family musical, THE MUSIC MAN, returns to the stage in an all-new concert staging starring the Marian of the classic film, Academy Award winner Shirley Jones, who will not only essay the role of Mrs. Paroo, but will serve as host and narrator. She will be joined on stage by her son, Patrick Cassidy as Prof. Harold Hill. A little known bit of Hollywood history: Shirley was pregnant with Patrick during the filming of The Music Man. Performances begin, appropriately enough, in Willson's home town (and model for River City) Mason City, Iowa tonight, September 18th.
