BWW Reviews: BURN THE FLOOR, Shaftesbury Theatre, March 11 2013

Flamboyant from the off, Burn the Floor is a hugely dynamic, fast-paced Latin and ballroom dance show. Choreography by Jason Gilkison is incredibly slickly performed by renowned couples from around the world. Burn the floor runs at the Shaftesbury Theatre until September 1 2013.

BWW Reviews: South African BURN THE FLOOR Tour Sizzles, July-Sept 2012

'This ain't your grandma's ballroom,' the posters say. And although BURN THE FLOOR might not be the kind of ballroom dancing my grandmother grew up seeing (or dancing, for that matter), I would hazard a guess that she would enjoy the show just as much as I did.

BWW Reviews: BURN THE FLOOR Scorches the O.C.

Let me just say this right off the bat... BURN THE FLOOR is quite possibly the most entertained I have ever been at a dance-centric stage show. From its electric start to its rousingly gangbusters finalé, the show truly lives up to its scorching name. Direct from its Broadway berth, the tour is now calling the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa its temporary dance home for the next two weeks through June 12.
Burn the Floor Ignites @ the Pantages

Although an avid fan of dancing, I have never considered myself an expert. Hardly. But...I know when I am moved, moved to the brink...and Jason Gilkison's dance spectacular Burn the Floor, now on tour and at the Pantages until Sunday May 8 only, has enough vitality and style to keep audiences jumping for joy. Yes, there are many similar dance shows, but this one's definitive!
