The Paul Taylor Dance Company has announced additions to the organization. Jessica Ferretti and Austin Kelly have joined the world-renowned Company, and Michael Apuzzo and alumnus Richard Chen See will join the administrative team.

One Week Extension Announced For CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS At Signature Theatre

A one-week extension has been announced today for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Curse of the Starving Class by Sam Shepard and directed by Tony Award nominee Terry Kinney. The production will now run April 23 to June 2, 2019 with a Monday, May 13 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

92Y's Harkness Dance Festival Celebrates 25th Season

92Y's Harkness Dance Festival celebrates its 25th season celebrating Merce Cunningham's centennial. For five weekends from March 1-30, HDF presents performances of Merce's own choreography for Cross Currents, Doubles, Landrover, Loose Time, Scenario and Septet, danced by New York Theatre Ballet, Melissa Toogood, Calvin Royal III and New World School of the Arts. The Festival continues with four weekends of world premieres representing four generations of Cunningham dancers who established companies of their own - Douglas Dunn, Dylan Crossman, Jonah Bokaer and Ellen Cornfield.

CCBC Presents World Premiere Of MIGRATION as Part Of Baltimore Stories Project

Community College of Baltimore County presents Migration, an original dance production created by internationally known choreographer and CCBC alumnus Peter Pucci as part of the Baltimore Stories Performing Arts series at CCBC. The premiere of Migration will be performed on Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at CCBC Essex, Wellness and Athletics Center, as Pucci returns to his Baltimore roots with a dance production exploring the interconnectedness of the human experience. CCBC Receives National Endowment for the Arts Grant for BALTIMORE STORIES

Community College of Baltimore County is the recipient of a $15,000 Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Given to support Baltimore Stories, CCBC's yearlong series of stories about Baltimore told through dance, music and theater, the funding supports commissioned work by artists who live or have roots in the Baltimore area.
