The Public Adds Free Public Performance of RUNAWAYS
The Public Theater will present the Annual Gala performance of the groundbreaking and thought-provoking musical RUNAWAYS by Elizabeth Swados on Monday, June 11 at the Delacorte Theater. There will also be a free added public performance of the musical on Tuesday, June 12, open to all.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that The Public's Annual Galawill be a performance of the groundbreaking and thought-provoking musical RUNAWAYS by Elizabeth Swados on Monday, June 11 at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Sam Pinkleton with choreography by Ani Taj, and creative advisement by Jeanine Tesori, the highly-anticipated summer gala under the stars will celebrate the 40th anniversary of this milestone production that first premiered at The Public in 1978 and continues to be a definitive moment in Public Theater history.

MTC Announces New Board Leadership
Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) announce that David C. Hodgson, Managing Director of General Atlantic LLC, and head of the board of the Echoing Green Foundation, a provider of fellowship support for non-profit entrepreneurs, has succeeded Peter J. Solomon as Chairman of the Manhattan Theatre Club Board of Directors. Hodgson has been a dedicated MTC board member for more than 15 years, most recently serving as chairman of the MTC Executive Committee.
