New Radio Play THE FOREVER WAVE To Air This March
While the pandemic's impacts on the theatre arts continue to devastate, the artistic imperative to dig deeply into the stories that define us has never been stronger. One of the innovative ways that theatre-makers have continued to craft COVID-safe narrative work has been via the radio play. Inspired by Dylan Thomas' iconic Under Milk Wood, The Forever Wave is set in a drowned San Francisco, circa 2070.

After the success of 2017's Dissent is Patriotic, IncivilitySF returns to the Lost Church for a second year, with a fresh slate of some of the Bay Area's best underground performers, for a showcase of original work riffing on the timely theme of elections and electoral politics. Whether you're an impassioned advocate of the ballot box, an undecided fence-sitter, or a burn-it-all-down radical, we've got you covered, bringing comedy, drama, storytelling, satire, and a seven-foot tall politicized Golem, to the Lost Church's intimate, Mission District stage. With Dhaya Lakshminarayanan, Micia Mosely, Evan Johnson, Sabrina Wenske, and Peter Griggs. Hosted by Andrew Goldfarb, aka the Slow Poisoner, and his amazing Amerimonster!
