Following on from the successful Red Carpet Women series last year, Chatswood Chase Sydney will celebrate Australian men of the stage and screen with Red Carpet Men. Hosted by Susie Smither, the series will feature up close and personal interviews discussing life in the spotlight.

MasterVoices kicks off the 2015-2016 season with The Pirates of Penzance; or, The Slave of Dutyon October 15-16, 2015 at 8pm at New York City Center, 131 W. 55th Street, New York City. Following the success of our 2012 Mikado at Carnegie Hall, MasterVoices' semi-staged presentation of The Pirates of Penzance will feature a cast of stars from the Broadway and opera worlds, along with Orchestra of St. Luke's performing Arthur Sullivan's original orchestrations under the direction of Artistic Director Ted Sperling. Opera Conference to Present THE DIVORCE
The Opera Conference is delighted to announce that production is underway in Melbourne on The Divorce. The program is a unique multi-platform project that re-invents opera for television, film and online audiences across the country. Originally commissioned by The Opera Conference, this playful new approach to a traditional art form is a collaboration between The Opera Conference, ABC TV Arts and Princess Pictures and brings together exceptional creative talent from multiple genres. The original score is by internationally acclaimed composer Elena Kats-Chernin and the libretto by award-winning playwright Joanna Murray-Smith.

For musical theatre lovers Down Under, 2012 gave us much to sing and dance about. We watched new musicals struggle to find their footing, a 60-year old classic make its triumphant return, and premiered blockbuster hits straight from the West End. In a year where we were spoilt for choice, it took much deliberation for this Broadway baby to narrow it down to a top five for 2012!
