Last night, June 27, the off-broadway theater scene became a bit richer with the advent of The Magdalene, a musical play about Mary Magdalene composed by James Olm with a book by Mr. Olm and J.C. Hanley. Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. served as the Creative Consultant on the production, which was directed by Richard Burk. Previews began on June 14. Seattle's Intiman Theatre Extends ABE LINCOLN IN ILLINIOS Thru 11/19
Intiman Theatre announces that, in response to audience demand and strong ticket sales, its American Cycle production of Robert E. Sherwood's Abe Lincoln in Illinois, directed by Sheila Daniels and featuring a cast of 19 actors, will extend beyond its scheduled closing and will now end its run on Thursday, November 19 at 7:30 pm-the anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
