Netflix debuted several sizzling new photos of Fire Nation characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender. First Look Images include Daniel Dae Kim as “Fire Lord Ozai,” Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as “General Iroh,” Ken Leung as “Commander Zhao,” and Elizabeth Yu as “Princess Azula.” Plus a new image of Dallas Liu as “Prince Zuko.”

Young People's Theatre (YPT) launched the next era in the company's 57-year history with the unveiling of its $13.5 million Room for Imagination expansion project. More than 10 years in the making, this ambitious project includes both renovations at its renowned Heritage venue, as well as a brand new facility across the street at 161 Frederick Street – YPT 161 Studios.

Netflix announced that production began in Vancouver on the live-action epic adventure Avatar: The Last Airbender based on the beloved animated series from Nickelodeon. Paul Sun-Hying Lee, Lim Kay Sia, and Ken Leung have been announced to join Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu and Daniel Dae Kim.

Kim's Convenience is one of the greatest shows of all time. This show has heart, comedy and representation. Bet you didn't even know it was a stage play first. Why can't we have nice things? This show meant so much to so many. It represented Asian immigrants and just Asians in general. As a half Chinese child, I related a lot to Janet in particular. Janet dealt with a lot in the show and I related so much to her.

From March 3rd to 8th, KIM'S CONVENIENCE played at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam. As this play acted as the inspiration behind the hit CBC television series: Kim's Convenience, this stage production was very popular leading to many sold out shows during its week in Coquitlam. KIM'S CONVENIENCE plays next in Chilliwack at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on March 11th followed by the ACT Arts Centre in Maple Ridge on March 12th and 13th.

Stand-outs include The Toronto Fringe hit Kim's Convenience (now playing for a second time this season at Soulpepper) and Atomic Vaudeville's Ride the Cyclone. The awards were determined by critics from The Globe and Mail (J. Kelly Nestruck), The Grid (Martin Morrow), National Post (Robert Cushman), NOW Magazine (Glenn Sumi) and the Toronto Star (Richard Ouzounian).
