Interview: Mary Callanan is Back in Boston for THE PROM

After putting that time to good use, expanding her fan base from Boston to Broadway and beyond, Callanan is back home now. And she's living it up as diva Dee Dee Allen in the SpeakEasy Stage production of 'The Prom,' playing May 5 through June 10 in the Roberts Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion, Boston Center for the Arts.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will take audiences on a sentimental trip down memory lane with the revival of Remembering the 40's on October 1-2, 2016, Reagle's original musical revue recalling the 1940's home front.  Featuring a talented cast of singers, dancers and actors, live music and period costumes, Remembering the 40's is a cherished tribute to the war generation.  Sentimental repertoire from the era includes "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "I'll Be Seeing You," "This Is the Army" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". Remembering the 40's is Directed by Robert J. Eagle, Choreographed by Susan M. Chebookjian, with Music Direction by Paul S.
