Shakespeare's Globe Prepares To Re-Open its Doors
The Globe is preparing to open again. Provided the conditions are met for Step 2 of the Government's roadmap for cultural reopening the Globe's guided tour of the theatre will return from 13 April and include welcoming schools back onsite with tours and workshops.
AT&T Performing Arts Center and Shakespeare Dallas Announce a Celebration of SONNETS
The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center and Shakespeare Dallas announced today the celebration of Sonnets, the final readings of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare and the conclusion of a five-year artistic collaboration with Shakespeare Dallas presenting all of William Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. Sonnets, will be hosted by well-known Shakespeare aficionado and comedian, William Sutton.

OSF to Host Shakespeare on the Road Travelers, 7/28-8/1
The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) will host four Shakespeare on the Road travelers July 28-August 1, 2014, as part of the group's 60-day, 10,000-mile road trip to 14 Shakespeare festivals in the U.S. and Canada to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth. During their Ashland visit, Shakespeare on the Road members will get an in-depth look at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, both on stage and behind the scenes.
LAND OF OUR FATHERS Receives Nominations for Off West End Awards
The acclaimed debut play by Chris Urch, a new writer supported by Theatre503 and championed by playwright Howard Brenton, has received two nominations from the Off West End Awards for Best Production and Best New Play. LAND OF OUR FATHERS has been described by Guardian critic, Michael Billington, as 'Undeniably Powerful, with Chris Urch being tipped as 'a name to watch'. The production is directed Artistic Director Paul Robinson, and runs at Theatre503, above The Latchmere in Battersea, until 12 October 2013.
