Macy's Herald Square just kicked-off the season with an evening of holiday magic at the annual Christmas window unveiling on Broadway Boulevard.The special event began with a special performance by recording artist Judith Hill, and continued with an extra dose of holiday cheer are two of the stars of Cinderella, Laura Osnes and Rebecca Luker.For the grand finale, a very special Make-A-Wish Kid flipped the switch and unveil the 2013 Christmas Windows, this year titled'Dream...and Believe Magic.'

On November 17, Macy's Herald Square kicked-off the season with a heavenly evening of holiday magic at the annual Christmas window unveiling on Broadway Boulevard. The event featured an appearance by special guest, Whoopi Goldberg, along with the divine cast members of the hit Broadway musical, Sister Act, including Tony Award nominee, Patina Miller. Santa Claus also made an appearance and led the countdown to flip the switch and unveil the 2011 Christmas Windows, this year titled 'Make-A-Wish.'

This year, spectators will be taken on a magical journey through the eyes of 8-year-old Virginia O'Hanlon who wrote to the New York Sun in 1897 in a quest to prove the existence of Santa Claus. The response, written by newsman Francis P. Church, began with the now-famous line, 'Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus...' and is viewed by those who believe as a symbol of the generosity and spirit of the season. In celebration of this spirit, this season's Christmas windows are more animated and theatrical than ever, as Macy's brings the magic of the Broadway stage to its world famous Broadway windows in its collaboration with PRG Scenic Technologies.
