New Jersey Fringe Festival to Return this August
Summer is here and the New Jersey Fringe Festival is near! The 3-day outdoor marathon event features live theater performance, music, art vendors, food, craft brews and wine, plus outdoor yoga for the whole family. The event runs August 18th-20th and celebrates creativity and artistic expression, bringing together talented artists and performers from the region to showcase their work in multiple hand-picked venues throughout Downtown Hammonton.
BWW Review: Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN - Not An Even Fight
Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN originally written in 1960 (and updated in 1976) about two presidential candidates vying for their party's nomination could have seem much more relevant to present day politics if the set and costumes didn't so vividly remind of the 1970s. Gary Lee Reed directs a committed, but uneven cast. Curious interpretation having the opposing candidates running for president as polar opposites, flip sides of a coin. Mark Belnick's Governor William Russell is everything John Ruby's Senator Joseph Cantwell isn't.

KISS ME KATE Screens in 3-D at Film Forum
"3-D Auteurs," a 19-day, 34-film festival spotlighting stereoscopic movies by some of history's most distinguished directors, will run at Film Forum from Friday, November 11 through Tuesday, November 29.
