When Paul took the stage at 10 years old and discovered he could make people laugh, it was all over. He knew that that was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
Today, Paul has been an actor, voice actor, and model in the Boston area for almost twenty years. In that time, he has become known, as he had hoped, for his strong comedic chops and even stronger eyebrows.
In theater, he’s especially proud of the roles he’s originated in world premieres, like his spine-tingling turn in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at Greater Boston Stage Company, his first-ever one-man show, as well as his portrayal of Little H in the murder mystery adaptation Noir Hamlet, which Paul performed at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Fest.
Other area stage credits include The 39 Steps and Miss Holmes Returns (Greater Boston Stage Company), Adrift and It Stops Here (Neverdark, Gloucester Stage Company), Vanity Fair (Central Square Theater), The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley (Merrimack Repertory Theater), and A Confederacy of Dunces (with Nick Offerman, Huntington Theater Company).
He can currently be seen on the small screen in a series of Plymouth Rock Insurance ads as the Patriots Militia Man (during any Boston sports games), as a tech in a series of Suburban HVAC commercials, and as a Jordan Marsh TV salesman in the pilot episode of HBOMax’s Julia.
His film credits include A Show-Stopping Christmas, Love, Weddings, & Other Disasters, Father of the Year, Unfinished Business, The Makeover, and The Pink Panther Deux.
Paul has his BFA from Salem State University and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild.
Outside of work, Paul is a New York Times crossword completionist, a trivia emcee for his family and friends, and dad to a loquacious, truck-obsessed toddler.
