OGCMA to Present SYMPHONIC DECIBELS: GREAT WORKS FOR ORCHESTRA AND ORGAN Next Week

OGCMA will present the finale to its popular 'Summer Stars' classical series on Thursday, August 3 (7:30 PM) at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove NJ. 'Symphonic Decibels: Great Works for Orchestra and Organ' will feature works by Mendelssohn, Boellmann and Saint-Saens performed by the Mid Atlantic Orchestra, under the direction of Jason Tramm and the Great Auditorium Pipe Organ, played by Gordon Turk.

This fall Jo Kreiter's Flyaway Productions unveils the third and final installment in its trilogy about urban poverty that began in 2012 with the award-winning Niagara Falling. The company produces Tennessee Williams' one-acts Moony's Kid Don't Cry, directed by Jen Danby; The Lady of Larkspur Lotion, directed by Daniel Capalbo, Jr, with Miss Danby as Mrs. Hardwicke-Moore, an early sketch of Blanche DuBois; and Interior: Panic, an early sketch of A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Edward Bergen and starring Jen Danby and Colleen Leone as sisters Blanche and Grace.
