BWW Review: Strut and Hustle to Riverside To Catch SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER And You'll Feel Like Dancing
While not landmark piece of musical theatre, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER delivers a few hours of escapist fun and a slew of 1970's disco tunes that will likely take some audience members back to their days in bell bottoms, platform shoes, and hustling the night away.
With strong leading performances, a strong emphasis on disco moves, and 20-plus songs from the Bee Gees and other tunes from the era, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER provides some escapist fun for a few hours. Riverside Center's production opened March 15 and continues through May 7, 2017.

BWW Review: SISTER ACT Is Heavenly at Riverside Center
Poised to take you to heaven with a song, a prayer and a tug at the heartstrings, SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL is a blessing that needs no disguise. Fredericksburg's Riverside Center Dinner Theatre is presenting the regional premiere of this London and Broadway hit adaptation of the Whoopi Goldberg starring film from the mid-1990s. Riverside audiences will be asking 'Who needs Whoopi?' once they get a load of Felicia Curry as the disco-chanteuse who brings a little funk to the convent.
BWW Reviews: Sally Struthers Shines in Riverside's 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL
The cast of Riverside Center's 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL works hard to elevate the material. Popular TV star Sally Struthers returns to the dinner theatre after her leading role in HELLO, DOLLY! and a turn in THE FULL MONTY. This time, Struthers sexes up her comic turn as office snitch Roz in the workplace and women's lib musical comedy based on the hit movie. Dolly Parton watches over the show (sort of) and provides the pleasant score.
