Directing credits: The Trouble with Words (Coeurage Theatre), Rooms: a Rock Romance (Chance Theater – 2012 OVATION Nomination for Best Director), A New Brain (El Portal Forum), Altar Boyz (Celebration Theatre), The Diviners (Kennedy Center), Under Milkwood (Dylan Thomas Boathouse, Laugharne, Wales), Songs from an Unmade Bed (Celebration Theatre), Equus (Young Theatre), As You Like It (Old Globe Summer Shakespeare Intensive), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Old Globe SSI), Hansel and Gretel, Reefer Madness, Violet, Dead Man Walking, Seussical, I Love You Because, and A Prayer for Owen Meany among others. He also directed the Pirates of Penzance-themed portion the What’s Opera, Doc? 50th Anniversary Celebration for Linda Jones Enterprises (Looney Toons/Chuck Jones Galleries). Patrick was a national directing finalist twice for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Patrick has his MFA in Directing from California State University, Fullerton and BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University. Member SDC.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Returns to Ford's Theatre This December

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault announced that acclaimed Washington actor Craig Wallace will return to Ford's to perform the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for the company's holiday production of A Christmas Carol. Performances of the classic Charles Dickens story begin November 15 and continue for a six-and-a-half-week engagement through December 30, 2018. This "musically high-spirited" and "infectiously jolly" (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson and directed by Michael Baron.

Tara Theatre in London has dedicated a three-week run of Eastern Star, a play about freedom of expression in Myanmar to the two Reuters journalists, U Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, given seven-year prison sentences in Yangon, for 'violating a state secrets act'. This news comes shortly after the 30th anniversary of the 1988 student uprising against the military dictatorship in Burma (now Myanmar) on 8th August.

Forward Flux Productions Announces Winners Of THREE NEW AMERICAN PLAYS

2016 National Festival of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Begins Next Week

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts hosts more than 150 outstanding theater students from colleges and universities across the nation as part of the 48th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), which runs April 12-16, 2016 in multiple locations throughout the Center. Thousands of student artists from eight regions across the country presented their work at regional festivals from January 5 through February 27, 2016 and more than 150 were selected to travel to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., for an all-expenses-paid trip to participate in the national festival.
