The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with The Foolish Company has announced the extension of Foolerie a Shakespearean Musical Comedy with book, music, and lyrics by Santino DeAngelo. Before their first performance on July 22nd, brisk ticket sales and sold out shows have prompted an additional performance of Foolerie to be staged on Sunday, July 26th at 4pm.

Guerilla Opera presents Let's Make a Sandwich, an experiment in opera production, which includes two world premiere operas with music and librettos by composers Rudolf Rojahn and Curtis K. Hughes, and stage direction by Copeland Woodruff and Giselle Ty. Through performance, this production investigates the culture of contemporary opera production and highlights where the influence of the composer ends and the director begins. Let's Make a Sandwich plays for one weekend only: Thursday through Saturday, September 25, 26 and 27, 2014, at 8 p.m. with an audience talk-back on Friday, September 26; all performances are in The Zack Box Theater at The Boston Conservatory, located at 8 The Fenway in Boston, MA. Tickets can be purchased beginning Wednesday, September 10, 2014, and are $15 general admission, $10 senior citizens and free for students with a valid ID (for at-the-door purchases only).
