Fitzpatrick began singing in high school, on the WJR Radio Show, "Make Way For Youth". After college she performed in Detroit at the Playboy Club, the Oldest Bar ( Key West, Florida) and numerous clubs in the Mid West. After a 30 year hiatus from the business she re entered the world of performing as a cabaret artist. She has written, produced and appeared in over 15 cabaret shows from Boston, Provincetown, NYC, London,England and Antigua.
Her cabaret Show " Cougars on the Prowl, with music director Barry Levitt and Dana Lorge & Helena Grenot was Nominated for a MAC Award in 2012.
Her performance as Adelaide in Guys & Dolls ( Fisher theater, Detroit) also won her a Best Newcomer Award ( 1965)
Now, she produces the Provincetown CabaretFest every year during the first weekend in June,
She has appeared at The Metropolitan Room, The Triad, The Duplex, The Iguana, Club Cafe ( Boston), Ronnie Scott's ( London) Sugar Club ( Antigua) and the Little Onion ( Denver,CO.) The Oldest Bar ( Key West, Florida) and clubs throughout the Mid-West.
At the age of 17 ,Fitzpatrick ( then known as Sandy Beach, recorded for MGM Records along side Connie Francis.
She served as the Director of Tourism for the Town of Provincetown from 1997- 2005.
Fitzpatrick is a writer, producer, performer, actor, comedian and vocalist.
