“Tomatoes Got Talent,” the popular contest for women over 40, who are not currently working pros, and have day jobs, returns this year, but with a twist! 12 finalists from the past eight years of shows have been asked back to take part in the 9th annual “Tomatoes Got Talent” contest on Wednesday October 11.
Broadway Producer Pat Addiss to be Honored with The Woman of Purpose Award
The Three Tomatoes and Glow Magazine have announced that Pat Addiss will be this year's recipient of The Woman of Purpose Award. Presented by Cheryl Benton (The Three Tomatoes) and Anne Akers (Glow Magazine) the award recognizes inspirational role models who are not defined by age or labels but are all about living life fully at any age.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces a star-studded cast for this year's 2022 TRUSpeak: Hear Our Voices!, a virtual gala scheduled for Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm. IMPOSSIBLE BUT TRUE, Musical based on Rip Van Winkle, plays Taverns in Brooklyn and Manhattan
Brooklyn Tavern Theater, led by composer/lyricist/writer Dan Furman, is presenting 'Impossible but True,' a 'tavern musical' inspired by Washington Irving's Rip Van Winkle story, through October 29 at Franklin 820 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and in Manhattan at Uncle Charlie's, 139 East 45th Street. This immersive musical aims to pioneer a new genre of no-frills productions in hospitable places that are underused for performances. Cailín Heffernan directs.
