The Dicapo Opera Theatre ends the season with the Dicapo Opera Children's Chorus Concert. The concert included songs of many styles, showcasing the gifted voices of the children's chorus lead by Artistic Director, Diane Martindale. Founded in 1982 by Ms. Martindale, the Dicapo Children's Chorus offers talented children the opportunity to perform in several Dicapo Opera Theatre productions throughout the season. This season the children's chorus was featured in the productions of Puccini's 'La Boheme' and Menotti's 'The Saint of Bleeker Street'.

Dicapo continues its 2010-11 season with a presentation of Puccini's beloved La bohème on October 15th thru October 23rd. This production is directed by Michael Capasso with sets by John Farrell, costumes by Angela Huff, and lighting by Susan Roth. Acclaimed conductor Samuel Bill leads the ensemble.

The Dicapo Opera Theatre Children's Chorus performed their spring concert to sold out houses this past weekend. The 250 seat theater on the upper east side of Manhattan is home to The Dicapo Opera. The Dicapo Opera was founded in 1981 by Michael Capasso and Diane Martindale and presents a full season of opera, musical productions and concerts every year.

On December 17, 2008 the Dicapo Opera Theatre presented a holiday concert called 'Yuletide Classics', a two hour show which included holiday songs, carols and opera classics. The cast featured the Dicapo Opera Children's Chorus and The Dicapo Opera Theatre's Resident Artists. The sold out show was performed in The Dicapo Opera Theatre's 220 seat theater in New York City under the direction of Diane Martindale, and General Director Michael Capasso.
