Pamela Poitier was born on April 12, 1954 in the USA as Pamela Michelle Poitier and is the daughter of actor Sidney Poitier and Juanita Hardy.
She is known for her work on Stir Crazy (1980), The Jackal (1997) and Air America (1990). Stage credits include The Gospel at Colonus on Broadway in 1988.

New Federal Theatre Announces Virtual Reading of WINDOWS by Mfundi Vundla

 As part of 'New Federal Theatre Celebrates Black History Month,' Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre is offering a live streaming virtual reading of 'Widows' by Mfundi Vundla on February 27 at 7:00 PM. The reading will be available on-demand through March 1.

This special event saluting NFT, for 40 years a seminal force in Black Theater, was co-hosted by Randall Pinkston (CBS News) and Lynn Whitfield. Chairmen for the event were Laurence Fishburne, John Morning and Susan Taylor. The Honorary Chair was Dr. Maya Angelou.
