Boston Ballet Announces 2022-2023 Company Roster
Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces the 2022–2023 season roster. The roster includes a diverse roster of dancers from around the world with 63 professional dancers. Five new dancers join the main company, six new dancers join Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet’s second company, and eight Boston Ballet dancers received promotions for the upcoming season.

NYC Opera to Feature Works of Schwartz, Bernstein et al. in '10-'11; Season and Casting Announced
Today New York City Opera released full casting, creative team, and production details for the company's 2010-2011 season. The season spotlights American composers and 20th-century works, world premieres, New York premieres and new productions. Offering audiences the opportunity to experience new and rarely performed operas as well as modern interpretations of traditional repertoire, the 2010-2011 season also will feature the launch of a new concert series showcasing the non-operatic works of several of the composers whose operas will be presented on the mainstage.
Family Friendly Performance Of THE MAGIC FLUTE Presented 4/4
New York City Opera and Target present a family performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute on Saturday, April 4th at 1pm at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, Queens.
The one hour, semi-staged presentation of the opera will be sung in English, and will feature New York City Opera singers and orchestra conducted by the company's Music Director George Manahan.
