Lions and tigers and bears would be a bit much, but how about one lion, one witch, and two little girls? Penobscot Theatre Company is planning to bring some holiday cheer to young patients at Eastern Maine Medical Center, and cast members of its upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz are excited about the opportunity to provide a special preview. Pamela Chabora (The Wicked Witch of the West); Ben Layman (The Cowardly Lion); and the two young actors sharing the role of Dorothy, Bronwyn Beardsley and Molly Hagerty, will visit the pediatric ward in costume, today, November 25, at 3:00 pm.

Acclaimed director and choreographer Michele Colvin (The Honky Tonk Angels) has returned to Bangor to bring the beloved classic to life, offering a fresh vision of a world where anything is possible and nothing is as it seems.
Casting Director Arnold Mungioli To Teach Master Class And Mock Cattle Call 8/21
Students enrolled in Theatre West Virginia and Mountain State University's Professional Training Internship Program will train with award-winning casting director Arnold Mungioli. Through Mungioli's training, the student interns will experience a professional actor's master class and a mock "cattle call" audition. The showcase event wraps up a summer of intensive training for the interns led by Pamela Chabora, performance specialist and actor with Theatre West Virginia and a faculty member at Mountain State University.
