PCPA to Present THE RIVER BRIDE Beginning in February
PCPA will present The River Bride, the story of folklore, love, regret and two sister who struggle to be true to each other and their hearts. Inspired by the Brothers Grimm and Brazilian folklore, The River Bride takes us to a lyrical 'once upon a time' along the Amazon River. The production will play February 16th through March 5th, 2023 in the Severson Theatre.
Q Youth Foundation Celebrates The Closing Of BORRACHO: SPANISH FOR DRUNKEN BUM
Borracho: Spanish for Drunken Bum by Abe Zapata Jr. has made its raucous return to West Hollywood and Q Youth Foundation wants to keep this party going until closing. After a sold out opening night hosted by Impulse Los Angeles audiences have been laughing and spreading the word about the gayest party in town, which is saying a lot for West Hollywood.
BORRACHO: SPANISH FOR DRUNKEN BUM Is Back at The Actors Company
Borracho: Spanish for Drunken Bum by Abe Zapata Jr. is back and making its debut at the Actors Company for two weekends from January 31st to February 9th. A portion of the play proceeds will benefit Q Youth Foundation an LGBTQIA+ organization dedicated in working with the LGBTQIA+ community with playwrighting and creative writing workshops.
West Coast Premiere Of THE THREE MUSKETEERS Brings Fun For All To Norris Theatre Stage
It's all for one, and one for all, as Palos Verdes Performing Arts presents the West Coast premiere of Catherine Bush's humorous and witty adaptation of the epic novel by Alexandre Dumas, 'The Three Musketeers.' The exclusive engagement at the Norris Theatre on the Palos Verdes Peninsula runs January 25 through February 3. Filled with adventure, romance, intrigue and swashbuckling swordplay, the play transports the audience to 17th Century France on a thrilling journey with the three heroes as they fight against the dishonest and seek to protect the ones they love.
ANW Presents ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD Begins 10/7
A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre, presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, the Tony Award-winning play that first brought Stoppard to the attention of an international audience - a position he has held in the half century since its premiere in 1967. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott directs. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead performs from October 7 to November 18 (Press Opening October 13).
