Composer and Orchestrator. Composer of Sesame Street (Israel), Peg+Cat (PBS) and musicals Mythic, Damascus Square, Sex Today Love Tomorrow. Composer in Residence with Salome Chamber Orchestra. His music has been performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, PBS Great Performances, Hollywood Bowl, in London at the Royal Opera House, in France with the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, at Schloss Elmau’ in Germany, the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, and other venues in Europe, Australia and across the U.S.

Orchestrations for John Legend, Andrea Bocelli, Kristin Chenoweth, Hugh Jackman, Deborah Voigt, Disney Parks, L.A Philharmonic, New York Pops, Alan Menken, My Life is a Musical, The Great American Mousical, Ring Them Bells (PBS), Anastasia (Cast Recording - Additional Orchestration), From Dust to Dreams (PBS). Composition Fellow at the Royal Opera House, London. BMI Musical Theater Workshop. Berklee College of Music graduate.
Born and raised in Israel, Oran quickly became one of the top music directors and composers for Israeli theater, working at Habima National Theater, The Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv and Lessin Theater, as well as teaching in the leading theater schools in the country.

The centerpiece of the event, which also includes food, drink, and socializing, is a special musical performance of After Anatevka: a Novel Based on a?oeFiddler on the Roofa?? written and performed by Grammy-nominated artist and author Alexandra Silber. Silber, who has appeared in Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway (directed by Bartlett Sher) and the West End, imagines what happens to Sholem Alecheim's beloved characters of Fiddler on the Roof after they step off stage. The performance features new songs composed by some of the top rising talent in musical theater today and sung by the gifted Silber, who recently played Sally Bowles in Cabaret at Olney Theatre Center.
